Superstar-DJs Hosting 3-Day Long Lesbian Party In Vallarta

Billed as one of the largest gatherings of lesbians in Mexico, Vallarta Girl (www.VallartaGirl.com) is kicking off with a bang as celebrities and world class DJs flock to this famous fishing village from throughout North America. From Friday, February 18th, to Monday the 21st, 2011 (President’s Day in the U.S.), the beaches, nightclubs, jungles and rivers of Puerto Vallarta will be filled with female party-goers for three days and nights of fun in the sun and dancing under the stars. An affordable getaway, there will be a lot more to do – pool party, excursions and the like. LezGetReal is supporting this event mainly because of one Lez Super Star, in the merging mega world of DJ Mix.

The party begins Friday evening with a Vallarta Girl Welcome Dinner at El Arrayan, Puerto Vallarta’s #1 Mexican restaurant owned by Carmen Porras and her partner Claudia, with dinner and entertainment, followed by the Pink Party.
Vallarta Girl will revel in a multitude of talent, crammed into three days – celebrity hosts Rose, Natalie, and Whitney from Showtime’s hit reality show The Real L Word, plus top notch talent including world renowned DJ Kimberly S., known for spinning Girl Bar Dinah Shore Weekend & White Party in Palm Springs, Aqua Girl in Miami, Two Queens Party in Singapore, and Black Cherry in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Also the sexy DJ Lezlee, who spins the tunes at Kyss Here Lounge Thursdays, The Catwalk, The Push Party Saturdays in Los Angeles, plus mega clubs Tao, Lavo, Marquee, and Voodoo Lounge in Las Vegas, and Club Skirts’ The Dinah in Palm Springs.
LezGetReal’s Melanie Nathan interviewed Kimberley S, Circuit DJ phenomenon and martial arts expert, and about the event and her meteoric rise to the top of the DJ pack, “I’m strong, I’m hot and I can spin my ass off,” asserts the super-DJ.
Kimberley has built a legions of fans – to include a bevy of some of Hollywood’s best known celebrities. Each week, thousands of Kimberly S. enthusiasts converge to hear the black belt karate expert play at venues across America. Specializing in in soulful house, pulsing tribal beats, trance and vocal club anthems, she wants to meet her lez fans old and new, cub and cougar, in Peurto Vallarta, to celebrate the best in Mix, House and dance. “I am a lover of house music in its purest form,” she explains. “House and Dance integrates all different genres into its flow, and as a result, it enables people to feel an array of different emotions: joy, love, nostalgia, inhibition, passion… I want my sets to serve it all to my fans on the dance floor.”
She is also noted for her exceptional mixing skills and superior set programming and credits her martial arts experience with giving her the discipline to succeed as a DJ.
Kimberly’s “big break” came when she was the headlining DJ at Girlbar in Los Angeles, where she met Jeffrey Sanker, the Steve Rubell of west coast gay nightlife. Jeffrey recruited Kimberly for Factory, LA’s largest gay disco, where she co-headlined “Factory Saturdays”, the clubs most popular night. She played the Ultra Suede room – a room in the back of the club that was smaller than the main floor. The main floor was reserved for the celebrity guest “circuit” DJ that had been flown in, usually from NYC where most of the national DJs at the time resided. Oddly, the main room always closed early because Kimberly would draw everyone to the back.
This lez DJ is known for giving her male counterparts a ‘run for their money’ proving that she is able to spin amongst the best, whether a straight or gay venue.
Today, Kimberly performs at some of the nation’s biggest parties including New Orleans’ Mardi Gras, One Mighty Party in Orlando, Miami’s Winter Party and Chicago’s Fireball. Most recently, she has concentrated on international headlining appearances including Circuit Asia in Manila, Philippines (2004 and 2005), Snowball in Taipei (2005), Song Kran II in Bangkok (2008), and many performances in Brazil and Mexico. In 2009 and 2010, Kimberly took on Asia with her highly acclaimed “Dharmanation Tour”, which landed her in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia. It may sound ambitious, but Kimberly believes it’s important that people set goals for themselves. “It’s the best way to get what you want out of life – and it really works!”
The Vallarta Girl includes Parties on Saturday, Jandy Cheeks Beach Party on Los Muertos Beach, a sail away with an open bar and music on the Chicas To The Wind Booze Cruise down the beautiful Banderas Bay coast. Vallarta’s famous nightlife will be an option with Saturday night at the Chicas Chicas dance party. Sunday’s always “Funday” in Puerto Vallarta, and they will be partying poolside at the GoGayPuertoVallarta.com Tardeada Tea Dance.
