Circle your calendar for Friday, January 21st so you don't miss the opportunity to add some pizzazz to your wardrobe and do a "good thing" all at the same time. Kathleen Palmer of Deja New is teaming up with Nacho Daddy and PuRR Project no-kill feline rescue shelter for this month's Fashion Show benefit.
Local models will feature an assortment of fashions for all ages and sizes from Kathleen's popular consignment shop. Nacho Daddy will then serve a delicious lunch with beverage... all for $150 pesos. It makes for a great Friday afternoon, so invite all your BFFs to attend.
You'll have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 drawing for cash. Don't forget to wear something you purchased from Deja New to participate in the door prize drawing. There will also be possible door prizes for anyone who brings an item of gently used clothing to donate to the cause. 10% of proceeds from all clothing sold at the shop that day will also go to PuRR Project, where they have over 250 ADORABLE cats and kittens in residence.
The fun starts at 12:30 on January 21st and advance tickets will be sold at the PuRR Project booth on Saturdays at the Old Town Farmers' Market, at Cassandra Shaw's store on Basilio Badillo, or you can drop by Deja New, located at Jacarandas #280 in Old Town anytime. Tickets will also be sold at the door, but the last two fashion shows were sold out so get there early!
