Saturday, February 19th is the date of the 7th Annual Rhythm ‘n Ribs in the main plaza in Bucerías. The party begins at 6 pm, Jalisco time. Tickets are sold (beginning at 6 pm) at a cost of $10 pesos each. With one ticket, you can get a small serving of food or soft drink.

Two tickets will get you a medium size serving of food, a glass of wine or beer. Raffle prizes of dinner gift certificates, jungle tours, and spa treatments are donated. Raffle tickets are also $10 pesos. This year the silent auction will be featuring works from local artists, lovely gift baskets and even green fees at a local golf course plus much, much more.

In advance we would like to thank the following people who will be dedicating there time and energy to help manage certain areas of this event. The following are... Participating restaurants, businesses and residents will be; Carnes del Mundo, Mark's Bar & Grill, Flaky's Fish and Chips, Los Arroyos Verdes, The No Name Bar and Grill, La Quinta Di Francesco, Cafe des Artistes Del Mar, Black Forest, La Cascada, Costa Dorado Suites, Frascati Ristorante, Restaurant Helechos, Vera Bakery, Restaurant Mauricio's, Encore Restaurant and Jazz Lounge, La Laguna, Famar Restaurant, Boutique Victoria's, Restaurant Chivero, Tamales Nidia, Pozole's An, Mama Ruth y Papa Bill, Anne Milling, Jim & Marilyn Moxin ("The Bean Lady") and Carla Wray, Serving up BBQ ribs, chicken wings, tacos, tamales, chili, beans, spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, cakes, other baked goods, desserts and more.

The music and entertainment this year will be provided by the following; The Hawaiian Dance Troupe from Puerto Vallarta; a Ballet Folklorico Grupo and Grupo de Animacion. Music plays from about 7 pm until ??? There are usually over 1500 people gathered in the plaza, both locals and visitors. The party has been known to last until 2 o’clock in the morning.

This is the premier fund raiser and all proceeds will go to Manos de Amor Casa Hogar, the orphanage in Bucerías. There are currently 21 children, so let's make this the best fund raising event of the year. You don’t want to miss this one!
