On March 8, 2011, one hundred years after the first declaration of International Women's Day in Germany, CasaMagna Marriott will recognize the extraordinary contributions of prominent women who have made Puerto Vallarta such an extraordinary destination.
This day the whole world commemorates the struggle of women for full recognition and active participation in society. It is for this reason that we want to honor all of the women who have played an important role in various fields, such as political, civil, economic, social, cultural, business and education, who have contributed to the change and development of Puerto Vallarta.
The celebration will take place in the gardens of the Marriott hotel at 9:00 am, with a delicious breakfast. Ticket cost $120 pesos per person with 100% of the proceeds donated to AGAPE, a shelter for girls who have suffered violence and abuse. These funds will provide them with food, education and care, so they can reintegrate into society.
For CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, the development of its female employees is one of its pillars, so throughout the year it generates various projects and activities to encourage the professional development and welfare of the women who work there.
Marriott Puerto Vallarta is proud to have a management and executive team conformed mostly of women and has been awarded for the fourth consecutive year as one of the 35 Best Companies for working women in Mexico.
Tickets can be purchased from Lourdes Bizarro in the Marriott Public Relations' office, (322) 226-0048, or by calling AGAPE Foundation Director Caty Huet at (322) 225-8577.
