Spring Break Returns to Marina Vallarta and the Village is Ready!

March 21, 2011

Normally when we hear 'Spring Break' many business owners' minds go to inventory in stock since Easter vacation or Semana Santa usually follows right behind, bringing loads of visitors to the area for two weeks of fun in the sun before the 'high season' ends here in Vallarta.

But this year we have a long buffer between spring break and Easter. So local business owners are taking the opportunity to make sure there is plenty of beer, food and fun to be shared in the Village at Marina Vallarta!

Some of the fun is out in the Bay of Banderas where, even though the official Whale Watching Season has ended for the year, the Whales will be hanging around until the end of March before they head home for parts in the frigid north.

Dolphins are jumping around, which makes them easy to spot. If you're a fisherman, these are welcome sights and mean that there is less of a likelihood of sharks in the area. Manta Rays are jumping from the water as they breach, showing off their power and strength.

If you are interested in taking a tour to see these magnificent creatures, then talk with William (Bill) Robinson at Charmer Fishing and Tours located on the Boardwalk in Las Palmas will fix you up with great service a smile and a nice little discount you won´t find other places.

So when those time share types offer you tours or fishing charters, tell them you have Bill! He will sell you Vallarta Adventures tours and any other sort of activity you are looking for in the Puerto Vallarta area. He also has several properties he manages for private owners, so if you are looking to rent a condo for next year or have friends coming down, Javier aka "Benito" has a small operation, but it's sound and reliable!

One of the cool places in Marina Vallarta Village is Bonitos'! Wednesday evenings ladies get free Martinis and there is live music in his way cool restaurant. With sidewalk tables out front you can have a smoke, a martini and of course some great entertainment by my friend Franco until the late evening hours.

I suggest you remember this place as a location to meet friends or have a nice deli lunch or dinner. Bonitos' has long been a Puerto Vallarta Favorite and is in a new location in the new Neima Bay complex on Calle Proa just down from AmeriMed hospital.

On the weekends, the Village is still a happening place with the Friday Evening Art Display along the Boardwalk / Malecón. With live music and entertainment at the end of Calle Mastil, the evenings have come to life. But remember this is a limited engagement and will end soon. So if you have the mind to, come to the Village and enjoy a nice evening walk, maybe have a nice dinner as you choose from 15 restaurants featuring any sort of food imaginable! Italian, Sea Food, International, 50's Diners and more are here for you to choose from...

Last but not least, the Village at Marina Vallarta would like to thank BanderasNews for allowing the association to publish its articles promoting their services. BanderasNews is your best guide to Puerto Vallarta and has been now for years!

The Village at Marina Vallarta is a business association supporting Marina Vallarta member businesses.
