June 6, 2011

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The International Convention Center of Puerto Vallarta is proud to announce the upcoming Japanese Art Exhibition, Art in Japanese Hands, scheduled to open on July 1, 2011, and continuing until July 15.

This important art exposition was organized in conjunction with Club des Amis de l'Europe et des Arts/Arts Council International.

Over 200 works of Japanese art arrived from Yokohama, Japan, on the sea vessel Marianna. They first landed on May 29 in the Manzanillo port and the art has been transported by land to the International Convention Center in Puerto Vallarta, where the magnificent works of art will be on display.

The Convention Center was built to hold up to 5,000 for large events, and hold smaller business meetings in their many modern facilities. It was designed and constructed by the State of Jalisco and features state-of-the-art press rooms, flexible size conference rooms and wireless capabilities, kitchen facilities, business center and parking for 50 buses and over 700 vehicles.

The exhibition will be open on July 1 until July 15, daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center, located at Paseo de las Flores #505, Col. Villa de las Flores, Puerto Vallarta.

Entry and parking are free.
