Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - With two major holidays so close to each other, celebrated by two major countries who share a common border, it makes sense to celebrate those two holidays with one BIG party.
That's what will be happening at the Paradise Community Center on Saturday, July 2 from 2-6 pm. There will be a live Rock-n-Roll band, dancing, lots of great food and beverages, and of course plenty of the people you know.
And here's the best part - The barbeque grills will be blazing for you to grill the main course of your choice. Just bring your favorite item to grill, be it steak, burgers, hot dogs, fish, chicken, etc... Side dishes, as well as hamburgers, food-long hot dogs and traditional desserts - apple pie, fudge brownie sundaes, strawberry short cake etc., will be available for purchase.
As a continuation of the "No to Low" campaign started by the Paradise Community Center, this BBQ festival is intended to bring together Canadians, Americans and Mexicans in a traditional celebration of the freedoms we all enjoy, and the fun and camaraderie that happens when friends get together for a summer picnic. Good food, good friend, good times, and all for a good cause. Your $50 peso donation will be used to feed those less fortunate.
The Paradise Community Center is located on Pulpito street across from Coco's Kitchen and the former Kit Kat, just a block and a half up from the beach, El Dorado and La Palapa restaurants. It is the location of the Old Town Farmers' Market during high season, the Worship in Paradise Church services on Sunday morning, the Book and Bean Coffee Shop and book exchange.
Mark your calendar - Saturday, July 2nd - doors open at 2 pm.
