Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Plaza Marina, just south of the airport, has opened it’s welcoming arms to the kitties of PuRR Project no-kill feline rescue shelter, allowing volunteers to set up their adoption post there weekly on Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm. The post is just outside of the entrance to the Comercial Mexicana Super Market in the cool breezeway.
PuRR Project continues to have an overflow of young and absolutely adorable kittens that, once spayed/neutered and vaccinated, will be ready for adoption into their Forever Homes.
Since last year, PuRR has adopted out nearly 70 felines and lots of those were adopted out at the non-profit organization's adoption post at the Farmer’s Market in Old Town Vallarta – now closed until November. PuRR also sends cats to various cities in the United States and Canada – and also to various colonias here in Puerto Vallarta and throughout the Banderas Bay region.
For more information on the new adoption post, contact Linda "Bama" Brasseal at adopt(at)purrproject.com.
Purr Project is a Non-Profit shelter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that provides homeless cats and kittens a recuperative stay with the ultimate goal to adopt them out to loving homes. All of our residents have been sterilized, vaccinated and are disease free. We accomplish this through our own efforts as well as collaboratively with other animal welfare organizations. Both monetary donations as well as donations of dry cat food are most welcome – and much appreciated. For more information, visit PurrProject.com or send an email to info(at)purrproject.com.
