Mexico City, Mexico - Former Beatle Ringo Starr chose Mexico City as the first stop in Latin America for his fall 'Peace and Love' concert tour. According to information on Starr's official website, the show will take place on November 1, 2011 at the National Auditorium.
On his website, the singer announced that he will visit the capital to present his Album Number 15, and NOT, which includes the song Walk with You.
Chile, Argentina and the Brazilian cities of Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Recife will also receive the former drummer for the English group.
Pre-sale VIP tickets for the concert in Mexico will be available September 5-6, while the general public can get theirs starting March 7.
Today, the former Beatle and his All Starr Band are touring Eastern Europe, and they will be performing in Germany, France, Italy and Austria during July.
Since 1989, Starr has performed with the group made up by Wally Palmar and Rick Derringer on guitar, Edgar Winter and Gary Wright on keyboards, Richard Page on bass, and Gregg Bissonette on drums.
After the breakup of the Beatles in 1970, Starr began his solo career and achieved success with songs such as It Don't Come Easy, Back Off Boogaloo, Photograph and You're Sixteen.
His show also includes songs made famous by the "Fab Four" such as Yellow Submarine.
