Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - In Riviera Nayarit luxury means taste, and this is why promoting our gastronomy is one of our main concerns. Our destination is promoting the Third Gastronomic Seminar with the intent of improving tourism to our region. This event is organized by the prestigious editorial group Excelencias, and will take place October 3–5.

This seminar, hosted at Marival Resort & Suites, will be open to the general public and will have very reasonable prices. The main objective is to provide tools to restaurateurs and to the hospitality industry to help them attract potential clients, to make a difference, and to help them create a more successful business.

The program includes conferences, tasting events and presentations for industry professionals, and will feature personalities like Patricia Quintana, Fernando Abreu, Yamir Pelegrino, Antonio Barroeta, Valentín Hernández and Betty Vázquez, among many others.

Grupo Excelencias is the Latin American branch of the Spanish company Exclusivas Latinoamericana, which encompasses specialized touristic publications, marketing services, a communications agency and public relations, as well a travel agency.

The group’s prestigious publications are some of the most recognized in the Spanish-speaking touristic market, and are in circulation in places like Panama, Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, the United States and many others, besides Spain.

One of the priorities for the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Riviera Nayarit is to improve the positioning of our touristic products. This Seminar will allow us to attract media that specializes in gastronomic tourism, which will visit our destination to cover this event.
