Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Every year, Puerto Vallarta seems to become more popular for the GLBT community, as bars, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, spas, gay business are ubiquitous throughout town. This is why “Manager’s Night" was created, to celebrate our diversity in business and unify our community cheering our diversity.
On August 23rd, the entire community came out to enjoy the second edition of Manager’s night, while showing their support of the wide variety of services that SETAC provides to Puerto Vallarta's GLBT community.
More than 13 owners and managers from some of the most important gay businesses in Vallarta participated in the Manager’s Night event. Owners and managers from businesses, such as Hotel Abbey, La Noche, Frida’s and Paco’s Ranch, among others, performed in benefit of the SETAC Community Center.
All in all, the second edition of Manager’s Night was a tremendous success. Paco’s Ranch was so crowded that it seemed like it was a Saturday night! More than 300 guests came out to enjoy the show - while raising much-needed funds for SETAC.
Our sincere gratitude goes out to all of the managers and owners for supporting us in this event. We also want to thank all of the volunteers who helped us organize the event. The support shown this past Tuesday will help us to continue with our mission: providing essential services to Puerto Vallarta's GLBT community.
The purpose of the SETAC Puerto Vallarta Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Community Center, located at Constitucion #427 on the corner of Manuel Dieguez, is to provide essential services to the GLBT community, including support in recovery from alcoholism and other afflictions, physical and mental health treatment and referrals, education and recreation in an atmosphere of safety, free from discrimination.
