Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - From last week through November 6th, members of El Grupo Ecológico de Puerto Vallarta, A.C. (Ecological Group of Puerto Vallarta) will perform community cleanups on the banks of the Pitillal River, as they have been doing for the past nine years.
El Grupo Ecológico de Puerto Vallarta has performed continuous reforestation activities in locations throughout the city, performing different activities according to the schedule that nature dictates.
During this time of year, after three months of rain, weeds are growing rapidly around the trees and must be removed because they prevent proper growth. This is a demanding task for which many volunteers are needed.
Following are reports of the group's activities on previous Sundays, as well as the schedule of upcoming projects. The Ecology Group hopes that many volunteers will participate.
