Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - On November 2, 2011 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, The River Café will be hosting a fundraiser cocktail for Los Mangos Library. Kick off the high season with appetizers, wine and live music at one of Vallarta's favorite restaurants - all for a good cause!

Puerto Vallarta's Library, Biblioteca Los Mangos, is not "just a library," it is a true cultural and community center. It is a place where children and adults go to read, study, use computers, take dancing lessons, play chess, learn English, watch movies and paint, among a multitude of other activities. Los Mangos also serves as a venue for entertaining and educational workshops, art exhibits, concerts, and cultural events.

The library belongs to this community. It depends solely on donations to keep it up and running, so come out and show your support!

Tickets for the November 2nd Los Mangos Library Fundraiser Cocktail cost just $200 pesos in advance or $250 pesos at the door, and are available at The River Café, Biblioteca Los Mangos, Hotel Belmar (next to the old Cine Bahía), La Ciabetta – (small plaza next to Molina de Agua – two doors from French Riviera Restaurant), Miralo (Iturbide #236-A – Centro) or by contacting me at pamela(at)healthcareresourcespv.com - or - we can make arrangements for delivery!

Don't miss this fun way to say hello to all of our returning snowbirds while supporting the Puerto Vallarta Public Library. We’ll have a GIANT gift basket filled with goodies for a raffle prize.
