Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Heat up your weekend! December 3rd from 4-8 pm the Vallarta Yacht Club is hosting their 12th annual VYC Great Chili Cook-Off. The event is open to all and will be held at the parking lot adjacent to the club in Paradise Village, Nuevo Vallarta.

Twenty Two (22) dynamite chili chefs are anxiously waiting to tantalize your taste buds with their special chili. Come and vote you your favorite. There are two cooking categories, Professional Chefs (restaurants) and Platinum Chefs (private.)

Prizes will be awarded for the best chili in each of the two categories and with a special price for the "Best Themed" team, that's when the wild and wacky ideas come into effect. There's some hot competition already lined up with several past winners vying for top honors.

This is a charity event, with all net proceeds donated to Families at the Dump and to PEACE Casa Comunidad and Community Pride programs.

Bring your appetite, your wallet, and your dancing shoes and help us give something back to the local community for the wonderful hospitality they afford us. Some of our samplers last year were reported saying they the chili extravaganza a moving experience, some even ventured to say it was a gas! SEE YOU THERE!
