We hope our friends in Bucerías and Nuevo Vallarta do well with their cook-offs, but right now it's time to take care of those taste buds with some world class appetizers and tapas from Trio Restaurant's Chef Bernard and his crew at the brand new Sandzibar at the Alamar Beach Club in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

Amigos de La Cruz will be putting on their first ever Season Opener Cocktail Party this Thursday, November 17th starting at 6:00 PM featuring the delectable treats of Chef Bernard and his crew, the jazzy Latin sounds of the Mango Duo, and all this taking place on the luscious tropical grounds of the Alamar Beach Club at Playa Manzanilla.

This is a unique opportunity to visit the very private club grounds AND get a sneak peek at Chef Bernard's gastronomic wizardry prior to the Grand Opening of Sandzibar. This fund raiser benefits the Amigos general fund in order to help offset the costs of the year round street cleaning program in La Cruz, purchasing more plastic garbage cans (tambos), uncovered costs for the privately funded recycling project, arroyo and beach clean-ups and the dispensas for the PEACE/Amigos WORK FOR FOOD program that has just been initiated in La Cruz.
