La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Mexico - Beta Sigma Phi, an international service sorority made up of women from Bucerias and La Cruz, is having their annual Wine and Cheese Party on Tuesday, November 29th from 7 to 10 pm at La Vida in Bucerias, and their popular Bucerias Christmas Boutique on December 10th, 2012.

Fourth Annual Beta Sigma Phi Wine and Cheese Benefit to raise funds for "Operation Warmth."

This special event helps provide blankets and warm clothing for our neighbors in need. The Beta Sigma Phi Wine and Cheese Benefit will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 7-9:30 pm, at La Vida, on Lazaro Cardenas in Bucerias.

The $300 peso ticket includes a door prize, a wonderful selection of hor d' oeuvres, as well as wine, beer and entertainment. We will have a lot of great raffle prizes also! Beta Sigma Phi Christmas Boutique, Saturday, December 10, 10-2 pm, Lazaro Cardenas 52, Bucerias

The local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, an international service sorority, has held a popular Christmas Boutique each December in Bucerias. Delicious baked goods and hand-made crafts have been very popular with tourists and locals alike.

Again this year, Beta Sigma Phi would like to offer local artists and groups a chance to join them in the Boutique. Tables will be available for rent at a low cost (approx $100 pesos) to cover the costs of the event. Artists will be responsible to display and sell their own items, and all proceeds from the sale will go to the artist or group.
