Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Old Town Farmers Market / Tianguis Cultural, a "producer only" market where all products are made, baked, grown and sold by Vendors who live within 50 kilometers of Puerto Vallarta, is starting it's third season in a new location on PV's South side.
Beginning November 5th, 2011 the Market will be held every Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm at the El Jardin de Niños Emiliano Zapata Kindergarten on Pino Suarez between V. Carranza and Basilio Badillo.
The market's new location provides wide aisles for ample browsing space as you shop from more than 50 local vendors who offer a great selection of locally grown farm fresh produce, artisan foods, handmade crafts, art, jewelry, clothing, and community education.
Musicians provide background music while you stroll through the aisles enjoying the rich aromas of warm baked goods, herbs and fresh ground coffee. After shopping why not stay awhile, relax and listen to the live music while you enjoy a tasty lunch from one of our food court concessions?
This year, the Old Town Farmers Market / Tianguis Cultural is also launching some exciting new initiatives with the school such as a garden and composting project for the students as well as assisting the school with some of its’ much needed maintenance and school supplies.
The Old Town Farmers Market - Tianguis Cultural has fast become one of Puerto Vallarta's most compelling weekend attractions where you can meet new friends, say hello to old ones, talk directly to the producers, buy great products, support the local economy and take part in activities for the whole family. Visit us every Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm from November 5th until the last Saturday in May.
