Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - On Saturday, November 26th, starting at 2 pm, Que?Pasa will present the 1st Annual PV Autumn Music Festival for La Brigada de la Basura.

Live entertainment will be provided by all your favourite bands all day and all night long: The Zippers, Texas Embassy Blues Band, The Baddies, Joe King Carrasco, Hangar Rock, Mikki Prost, Graham Ross, Fonky Monkey, Bobby Tansen and friends, Chris Kenny and more to be announced.

In order to raise money for La Brigada de la Basura, there will be:

Silent Auction (items by local businesses)
50-50 raffle
Dinner Special - BBQ Platters with ribs and/or chicken for $90 pesos
Special t-shirts
$50 pesos donation at the door
and much more!

The Brigada de la Basura, the trash brigade, is an education project directed at the local kids to keep the neighbourhood clean.

Every Saturday at 11:30 am the neighbourhood children are invited to meet at Que?Pasa. We give them a trash bag and latex gloves; then with adult supervision we walk through the local streets picking up every piece of trash we can find on the streets and sidewalks. We plan our route to end up back at Que?Pasa where the children are rewarded with grilled hot-dogs, chips, a natural soft drink, a child oriented movie, a small bag of sweets and a small toy.

Currently we are averaging 60 kids per week. If you would like to help us there are various things possible. We would love for you to join us on Saturday to help out with the kids - we always need more adult supervisors. Toy donations would help greatly as would cash donations to assist in purchasing gloves, bags, hot-dogs and chips. Please help us support the local kids.
