Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Vallarta Young Professionals Organization was founded in February 2011 by Lindsay Prime, who moved to Puerto Vallarta from Colorado, in the spirit of connecting national and international residents of the Banderas Bay area with the goal of creating both a business and social networking forum.

In less than one year the YPO has experienced incredible growth and a widening impact on Puerto Vallarta with an extremely active and interactive online community of close to 400 people. This organic growth has created a supportive collective of businesses and individuals, advertising opportunities and a credible forum in which to ask questions, offer advice and garner exposure for products and services in our community, as well as creating great social connections.

Initially with a focus on social events including popular monthly "Happy Hours" which have provided an excellent showcase for local restaurants and bars, new initiatives to grow and diversify the group have been implemented including exclusive promotional campaigns for business members and plans for charitable campaigns within the Puerto Vallarta area.

As well, the YPO has begun offering official memberships, individual and business, which feature many advantages including free admission to YPO Happy Hours, discounted admission to special events, the ability to promote one's business within the organization and discounts at local restaurants and businesses.
