Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Art enthusiasts welcomed the first individual exhibition of oil paintings by Juan Martin del Campo at Galeria Vallarta, which will continue until January 19th. His art is influenced by Pablo Picasso, Rufino Tamayo, Vincent Van Gogh and Jackson Pollock.
A Vallarta native, Juan Martin spent many years in the United States and on returning to Vallarta has pursued his passion for painting, experimenting on his own and developing his style of figurative creations such as his Two for Dinner, El Vigilante, and Man and Woman in large format, as well as smaller paintings including Man with Pipe, Transformation of Faces and Face of a Woman.
Juan also loves to paint abstracts in esmalte with the vibrant reds, yellows and blues flowing together in dramatic compositions, ideal for the contemporary décor.
If you missed the opening cocktail on January 6th, which featured a chicken taco bar, wine and punch, please stop by Galeria Vallarta, Guerrero 187, upstairs, any day from 10 to 6 except Sunday to enjoy this special show along with many other fine artists creations, unique jewelry and sculpture.
