Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - As part of their Every Tuesday Movie Night film series, the Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad will present 'The Corporation' at the Paradise Community Center on Vallarta's South side on Tuesday, January 10 at 7 pm.
The Corporation is a 2003 documentary that looks at the concept of the corporation throughout recent history up to its present-day dominance. This is an extraordinary film about the creation of the American corporation, its legal organizational model, its global economic dominance and its psychopathic tendencies, and its incredible ambition to influence every aspect of culture in its unrelenting pursuit of profit. The interviews cover a wide spectrum of opinion, from Michael Moore and Norm Chomsky on the left, to Nobel Prize winning economist Milton Friedman on the right.
