Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Senior Pastor at Vineyard Church of the Rockies, Rick Olmstead, will present 'Choices that Heal' this weekend at the Paradise Community Center on the South side of Puerto Vallarta. During this special seminar, Rick will be sharing principles to heal life's hurts and relationships.
The first session will be held on Saturday, January 21 from 6-8 pm and will continue at the Paradise Church services on Sunday morning at 10 am, and a third session will be held on Sunday evening at 6 pm.
About Rick Olmstead
Rick was born in Los Angeles, California. He came into relationship with Christ while in college during the Jesus Movement. He graduated from Vanguard University with a BA in Psychology and received his MA in Educational Counseling from Cal State University, Bakersfield. Rick was a public school teacher, coach and principal for seven years before moving in 1982 with his wife, Becky, to Fort Collins, Colorado to start a Vineyard Church.
Twenty-nine years later he is still leading the church, has participated in launching over fifteen Vineyard Churches, and has taught and ministered around the world. He serves on the Vineyard USA board as a Regional Overseer for the Greater Rocky Mountain Region.
Rick's passion is to help Pastors lead culturally relevant churches that impact their communities with the love of Jesus Christ. He and Becky have twin boys, Geoff and Greg and two daughters-in-law, Amanda and Heather.
