Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Now at an earlier 8 pm time slot, Saturday Night Drag, the fantastic combined variety drag show starring Miss Conception and Joanna, two of The Palm’s most popular entertainers, is the perfect option for those looking to see a taste of what The Palm does so well and still get home at a decent hour. The time change came, in part, due to requests from audiences for an earlier show featuring these entertainers.

Kevin Levesque, as Miss Conception, has been a star in the Toronto drag scene for years but it wasn’t until he arrived in Puerto Vallarta that he began doing his current all-live vocals show. In fact, there is no lip sync in any of the shows this year at The Palm.

Miss Conception amazes his audiences each week with his fantastic costumes, amazing dance ability and quick wit in addition to the live vocals. "His audiences certainly get their money’s worth anytime Kevin is on stage!" says entertainment coordinator, Tracy Parks. Miss Conception’s solo show is Thursdays and Sundays at 10 pm.

Co-star Joanna, aka Joe

Co-star Joanna, aka Joe, a seven-year veteran of the Vallarta entertainment scene, brings his always popular comedic character impressions to the stage, giving audiences a generous sampling of the "gazillion" voices he does so well in his solo shows. From Anne Murray to Madonna to Neil Diamond, Joanna is well known for his unique style and humor.

Very popular this year is Joanna’s "Are You Smarter than a Sarah Palin" game show. "Joanna is hysterical as Sarah Palin! It is one of my favorite moments in the show," adds Parks. Joanna, in addition to the Saturday Night Drag Show, performs on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 pm.

"The best part of the night for us is hearing the ‘great show’ comments as people leave The Palm. You know you have a great show when everyone leaves smiling and complimenting the entertainers," says Mark Rome, entertainment director at The Palm.

More than 8200 people have attended shows at The Palm this year. The popular cabaret located at Olas Altas #508, seats about 90 and is often sold-out by show time or in some cases beforehand. Reservations have been strong all season.
