On March 17th, The River Cafe will be co-hosting a fundraiser cocktail for the Los Mangos Library with wine, appetizers, and live music. The event be held at Oscar's Restaurant from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and promises to be great way to get the celebration underway - and all for a great cause!

Puerto Vallarta's Library, Biblioteca Los Mangos, is not "just a library," it is a true cultural and community center. It is a place where children and adults go to read, study, use computers, take dancing lessons, play chess, learn English, watch movies and paint, among a multitude of other activities. Los Mangos also serves as a venue for entertaining and educational workshops, art exhibits, concerts, and cultural events.

The library belongs to this community and it depends solely on individual's donations and fundraisers held by civic minded businesses like The River Café to keep it up and running, so come out and show your support!

The Los Mangos Library Fundraiser Cocktail will be held at Oscar's Restaurant, right near the bridge on the Malecón where the Rio Cuale meets the ocean. Tickets for the March 17th event cost just $200 pesos in advance or $250 pesos at the door, and are available at The River Café, Los Mangos Library, Hotel Belmar (next to the old Cine Bahía), and La Ciabetta – (in the plaza next to Molina de Agua – two doors from French Riviera Restaurant.)

Don't miss this fun way to meet up with friends and make new acquaintances while supporting the Puerto Vallarta Public Library.
