London, England - The Mexican delegation for the London 2012 Olympic Games had its best performance in over 40 years for the summer games, winning seven medals, including one golden, three silver, and three bronze.
It is the second best Olympics ever for the country, only surpassed by the one held in Mexico City in 1968, where it won three golden, three silver, and three bronze medals.
Aida Roman won a silver medal and Mariana Avitia a bronze in the women's archery, while Laura Sanchez won bronze medal in the 3m trampoline.
