Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - In celebration of Mexico's Independence, one of Puerto Vallarta's oldest art galleries, Galería Vallarta, will open the 'Viva Mexico' art exposition with a cocktail inauguration on Friday, September 14, 2012, from 6–9 pm.
Featuring art works with Mexican themes by artists Hiram Guerrero, Pat Haley, Javier Zaragoza, Francisco Medina and Eduardo Allende, the exhibit will remain on display at Galería Vallarta through September 28, 2012.
Galería Vallarta was established in Puerto Vallarta in 1989 and has continually presented fine art from talented Mexican and international artists. In addition to paintings, you'll find a wide selection of art in all forms, including sculptures in bronze, ceramic, wood and mixed media, collectible masks, unique designer jewelry, unusual crafts, lithographs, serigraphs, collectibles, antiques and wall decor.
Located at Guerrero 187 #110, one block from the main plaza and the crowned church in the heart of Vallarta's Centro Historico, Galeria Vallarta is on the second floor of the building that was the first bank in Puerto Vallarta and later the Chula Vista Hotel. This building, with it's central patio, evokes the feeling of Old Mexico, and you can often find local artists painting in the upstairs terrace. We invite you to come and share a True Vallarta Experience with us.
