Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Time to get back to work. Annually, Daiquiri Dick's/The Deli closes during the month of September for vacation. This time is not idle, restaurant maintenance takes place, new recipes are perfected, and the staff gets prepared for high season.

The restaurant and deli will reopen on October 1st, and they will start off the season by celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving with their loyal Canadian friends on October 8th. A turkey dinner with all the trimmings will lead the specials that night.

Back by popular demand, Jorge Acosta will be serenading the crowd at the restaurant. A special night of music and dining takes place on Friday, October 26th. Jorge and his musical group will be performing two sets, one at 7 pm and one at 9 pm. There will be a cover charge of $150 pesos for those dining and for patrons only wishing to attend the show, tickets will be $200 pesos and include a beverage. Make your reservations now because space is limited.

Daiquiri Dick's has been a beach front favorite for around 40 years. The innovative menu constantly evolves and is characterized as Mediterranean, Mexican cuisine with Asian influences. Whether it is a main course, appetizer, sandwich, salad or soup, the chefs blend the flavors to create interesting combinations, subtle, yet zesty. Careful attention is also paid to the plating and presentation of your meal. There are daily specials to further whet you appetite.

The Deli, which is located inside Daiquiri Dick's, offers made to order sandwiches on house baked bread and rolls. There are unique salads, wraps and many tasty treats. Espresso and other coffee drinks are whipped up along with home made croissants, breads, cookies, and their award winning scones.

A new feature is the free delivery service, with a minimum purchase of $50 pesos. All your favorite lunch items from Daiquiri Dick's and The Deli are available to go and can be delivered right to your door. The service runs from 11 am until 4 pm and covers the area from Molino de Agua to Calle Púlpito and Highway 200 to Playa Los Muertos. Never leave your office, patio or favorite beach spot, just call them up and they will deliver your snack to you.

Daiquiri Dick's and The Deli also offer full-service catering. Whether you are planning a wedding, cocktail party or private dinner the staff can make the event effortless. Daiquiri Dick's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 9 am until 11 pm. Dine in the restaurant, on the patio or the beach. Try the Happy Hour selections with great snack items from 4 to 7 pm. The Deli is open from 9 am until 6:30 pm. There is seating inside, on the sidewalk or the beach. All orders are available to go.
