Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - After three thriving years in the Banderas Bay area, Expats in Vallarta, a local group made up of residents, visitors and investors from other countries, is gearing up for their fourth season - and it promises to be the best yet!
Over the summer, ExPats in Vallarta launched a brand-new expanded website, featuring informative and insightful articles geared towards both expats already living in Vallarta and those who are considering moving to the Banderas Bay area.
The new site also has a quickly expanding Members Profile section, where members have posted their pictures and some of their thought process in moving to Vallarta; a new interactive Forum section that allows members to ask and answer questions from the group; and, finally, a Calendar of Upcoming Events.
The group's fourth season kicks off in October, with two Happy Hour gatherings. The first one will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at Langostinos on Los Muertos Beach from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The second one will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd at Sea Monkey, also from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Both restaurants are located on Los Muertos Beach in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica.
A Wine and Appetizer Evening is scheduled for Friday, October 26th in the Marina area. All events require reservations, which can be made on the ExPats in Vallarta website.
Open to all expat residents, visitors and investors from other countries, Expats in Vallarta is an informal community for expats living in Puerto Vallarta, as well as a resource for people considering moving to what many people believe is the best place in the world to live. The group was started in 2009 and has been responsible for many new friendships. Since then, Expats has grown into a resource for people who have gone through the process of setting up a life here and are willing to share their stories to make it easier for those that follow.
Between fun social events where members can meet friends and create new friendships; providing valuable resources for expats living in, or thinking about moving to, Vallarta; and the fact that there are no membership fees (everyone pays for only what they use or consume,) ExPats in Vallarta offers a great way to meet new friends and enjoy life in our little slice of Paradise to its fullest.
