Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - As a travel destination and our home, Puerto Vallarta’s most valuable asset is the amazing natural beauty. To compete for tourism dollars and preserve the environment and our own quality of life, we need care for our home.
Be A Part Of This!
The next highway clean up will be on November 14th. The previous event in July was a wonderful success and we hope to improve on it. A small group of volunteers picked up an impressive 45 jumbo garbage bags of trash and cleaned up almost 4 miles of highway.
The November 14th clean up will be on the highway from town to Mismaloya. We invite all volunteers and property owners to step up and help. We are confidant City hall will support this project.
DATE: Wednesday, November 14, 2012
TIME: 8:00 am
Where To Meet: The Pemex Station in town
Property Business Owners: We ask you and your staff to clean the area 500 meters on either side of your property and leave in the designated garbage pick-up spot. We have a truck and will pick up and dispose of the trash at approximately 12 pm.
History has proven that a clean and untarnished area is less likely to attract trash and graffiti. This subsequently increases tourism which helps to build a stronger economy. We all benefit from a clean environment - from our personal health to our overall happiness.
Thank you!PEACE MEXICO
