Update: The Puerto Vallarta Young Professionals Organization's October 6th "Non-Event" for Corazón de Niña PV is now being held at CHEEKY MONKEY in downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The Puerto Vallarta Young Professionals Organization (YPO) is hosting the "Non-Event Event" this Saturday, October 6, from 6:30 to 9 pm at Sea Monkey, located on the waterfront on the South side of Puerto Vallarta.

The benefit is in support of Corazón de Niña, a local non-profit children’s shelter dedicated to providing housing, education, food, medical care and love to young girls who have been removed from shockingly abusive situations. Corazón de Nina survives solely on private donations and is putting out a plea for emergency funding for food and urgent medical care for the month of October.

"Melissa Canez, the Director of Corazón de Niña, reached out to us because she is truly in a desperate situation for providing food and medical care for these girls this month," stated YPO Member, Ray Drew. "We decided to host an emergency call for resources with a 'non-event' which means no speeches, no need to get dressed up, no silent auction... just an invitation for people to come down to Sea Monkey on Saturday evening, enjoy some cheap drinks and fun company, and donate whatever they can into the collection jar for Corazón de Nina."

100% percent of donated funds will go directly to Corazón de Niña.
