Demi Lovato Spent New Year's Eve in Riviera Nayarit

January 4, 2013

While Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got all of the media attention, actress and singer Demi Lovato enjoyed a peaceful vacation away from the spotlight at the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Punta Mita, Mexico - While Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spending New Year's Eve in Riviera Nayarit got all of the press and social media attention, actress and singer Demi Lovato enjoyed a peaceful vacation away from the spotlight at Four Seasons Punta Mita.

"Rang in the New Year last night in Mexico having a dance party to my new music with my best friends. I'd say that's a pretty awesome NYE," Lovato tweeted on January 2nd, just after returning to the US. Among other things, Demi spent a day on a Four Seasons yacht and another enjoying the pool without being noticed.

Over the past few years, Riviera Nayarit has become one of the preferred destinations for celebrities, with visits by important personalities like Thierry Henry, Kate Hudson, Felicity Huffman, Gerry Lopez, sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Courtney Cox,Charlie Sheen, Mario Lopez, Sofia Vergara, Kirsten Dunst, Juliette Lewis, Eva Longoria, Justin and Selena, among others.

The efforts being made by the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is evident through direct communications like the one made by Lovato in the social networks, which help position Mexico's Pacific Treasure as one of the best in the world, and highlight the importance of the government, hotels, restaurants, and service providers' role in improving visitors' experiences.
