Investours, a local non-profit organization that supports artisans throughout the Bay of Banderas, and the Bucerias Bilingual Community Center, will be hosting their first Community Street Fair on the street of 16 de septiembre in Bucerias from 3 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, January 15th.
This is a unique opportunity to sample authentic Mexican cuisine, learn new skills at mini-workshops, purchase artisanal products made locally, and enjoy a great night of music and some amazing prizes. This event will feature workshops taught by local artisans ranging from homemade tamales and piņatas to vegetarian cooking lessons and jewelry making.
There will also be a silent auction with prizes from local restaurants, galleries, and spas, in addition to live music, a full bar, games, and other kid-friendly activities. Fun for all ages and a chance to celebrate all that our wonderful community has to offer! Not to be missed
Entrance to the workshops will be $50 pesos and all proceeds will benefit Investours and the Bucerias Bilingual Community Center.
Driving from Vallarta, take the lateral at the second stoplight in Bucerias. Turn right onto Matamoros (right after a store called Carnes del Mundo.) Go two blocks, turn right onto 16 de septiembre.
