Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Galeria Contempo, is delighted to announce that award-winning local watercolorist Meg Munro is now showing at the gallery.

A Puerto Vallarta resident for more than 25 years, Meg has been exhibiting her work in Mexico since 1994 and has a huge international and local following. Fresh, figurative, and vibrant, her unique style has a sense of photo realism.

"I am so pleased to now be associated with Galeria Contempo," Meg stated. "I respond to their belief in what I do."

Meg derives inspiration for her work from present and past cultures of Mexico. Two of her series, the Purity Contour Paintings and the Botanical Collectibles, are based on the vivid, lush images she observes on her frequent visits to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens. Her paintings are created with a limited palette - permanent rose, quincacridone yellow, aureolin, viridian, cobalt, Windsor blue, and ultramarine deep - using a grisaille method. Meg's art is enjoyed by collectors and art and nature appreciators alike.
