Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Award winning Restaurant No Way José!, is thrilled to serve as the official "Welcome Restaurant of the Puerto Vallarta Bugambilia Festival." In celebration of this long anticipated event, they will be hosting a special festival kick-off party on Wednesday, March 6th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

At this 1st Annual Bugambilia Festival Kickoff Party at No Way Jose! you will enjoy a festive complimentary cocktail and appetizers while you get a sneak preview of some of the festival activities. Members of the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club will be on hand describing the new annual event that is sure to transform Vallarta into the "Bougainvillea Capitol of the World!"

Revelers will be able to sign up to volunteer, sponsor an activity, or sponsor a planter box tile. You will also learn about many other ways to become involved. Festival dates are May 17th - 24th, in conjunction with the extremely popular Vallarta Lifestyles Eighth Annual Restaurant Week.

Working to transform Vallarta into "The City of Bougainvillea," local businesses along with visitors and residents are busy planting trees, landscaping balconies, designing festival activities, and getting ready for a week full of celebrations. Beginning with a candlelight procession down the Malecón, highlights include a "Salute to Mexico" street party on Basilio Badillo, guided bus tours to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, a traditional English tea party at the Hacienda San Angel Hotel, guided walking tours downtown, and Mexican folk dancing and mariachi presentations.
