Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico - In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our magic, and our magic will dance to the rhythm of the Riviera Nayarit Salsa & Mambo Festival from March 14-17, 2013. The event will take place at Marival Resort & Suites in Nuevo Vallarta, and more than 600 participants from the United States and Mexico have already made hotel reservations.

Classes and dance workshops, presentations of the most prestigious international dancers, games and contests will be part of the fun that this festival is bringing to our destination, with great exponents of the genre as Carlos Zafire, Tanja Kesinger, Zeke Ruvalcaba, Alien Ramírez, Mikel Font and El Tiguere del Mambo, among many others.

The fun is open to the public with a variety of options to enjoy either the whole event or just some of the shows, workshops and parties. Dance and DJ competitions had previously held qualifiers in Ciudad Juarez, Guadalajara, Leon, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Veracruz, while those for participants from the region of Bahia de Banderas will take place on March 14, to mark the beginning of festival activities.

"We are sure this will be a successful festival in terms of promotion. The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit supports events that increase hotel occupancy rates and which generate media coverage that allows us to reach a particular market niche. In this case there are already 600 reservations at the host hotel, which tells us that supporting the event has been beneficial to the destination. We're also confident that we will have good exposure because of the quality of the dancers that will come here," said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the CVB of Riviera Nayarit.
