Los Angeles, CA - Delta Air Lines is upping the frequency of its flights from Los Angeles to Cancun, Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. On December 19, Delta’s weekly service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Cancun (CUN) will become a year-round daily flight.
Flights to Guadalajara (GDL) have already been increased to a daily year-round service, with twice daily flights during the summer peak. Puerto Vallarta (PVR) is also now served by daily flights.
Carlos E. Hernandez, Delta's director for Mexico, said the expanded schedule opens up worldwide destinations for travellers from Mexico.
"We are seeking to offer increased and convenient connections to our customers in Mexico and through Los Angeles they can access more than 176 peak-day departures to 63 destinations worldwide, operated by Delta and its partners," he said.
Through Los Angeles, Delta can connect Mexican customers with high demand Asia-Pacific destinations such as Sydney in Australia and Haneda and Narita in Japan.
