Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - A caravan of Volkswagen cars from various cities in Mexico will converge in Puerto Vallarta for a fun-filled weekend November 15-17, according to Vallarta Volkswagen Club Vice President Andrew Femania.
The Vallarta Volkswagen Club (El Club Vallarta Volks), a member of the National Association of Vocheros Clubs of Mexico (ANCVM), will host the "Eighth Vallartazo Vochero 2013" bringing together VW lovers who appreciate the originality of Volkswagen vehicles and enjoy the mutual pursuit of this hobby with family and friends.
The festivities will begin on the evening of Friday, November 15 with the arrival of the caravan of vochos and combis on the streets of Vallarta, followed by the Maleconazo on Saturday and, to show the public what it means to be a vochero de corazón (VW lover at heart), a parade of classic and decorated models will roar down the Malecón on Sunday.
To add to the weekend's activities an expo area will be set up, where cars that have participated at the national level in competitions and fairs will be showcased, along with vendors offering everything from VW parts, food and drink to a playground for the kids, contests, live music, and a whole lot of fun for the entire family.
