Punta Mita, Mexico - Surf legend Gerry Lopez is coming back to Punta Mita for another super fun SUP camp. From November 15-18, 2013, Gerry will visit Mexico's Pacific Treasure to lead a Standup Paddle Boarding camp organized by Punta Mita Expeditions at the astonishing St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.
If you have never been to one of his camps before, you should know this is a unique experience. The retreat features yoga, lifestyle conversations and of course a lot of Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Surfing with the master himself.
Gerry offers personalized Standup Paddle (SUP) instruction, leads morning yoga practice, and hosts discussions on wellness. After an unforgettable day on the water, evenings are filled with dinners and social functions, including a slideshow of Gerry's life in surfing.
Gerry Lopez SUP camp includes visits to the Marietas Islands National Park, home of hundreds of species of birds, tropical fish and thousands of marine mammals. Located just a few minutes from Punta Mita, Las Marietas are the perfect place to enjoy great SUP downwind sessions.
"This is an awesome opportunity to learn from one of the greatest surfers of all time," says Camp Director Dennis Oliphant. "In fact, it is truly the chance of all lifetime for those wishing to learn, or improve, Standup Paddle surfing, as well as enhance their overall approach to health and wellness. Gerry epitomizes a holistic, healthy surf lifestyle."
The camp is geared towards all ability levels in both yoga and SUP. For the full schedule, click HERE. For more information and reservations, email info@puntamitaexpeditions.com.
