Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - As in previous years, Superior Tours Vallarta has been spending the months of August and September preparing their tours for the upcoming Winter Season. With so many great trips in the works, owner Astrid Van Dam has had a very busy summer.

"The reservations for overnight tours to Guadalajara, Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Copper Canyon are going pretty well," Astrid says. "For the first time our March Copper Canyon tour had been fully booked 6 months before the tour. We currently have space available for the February tour, but here too, reservations are going fast. I am really happy that people are planning their trips to Mexico so far in advance, that is a very good sign," Astrid claims. "It's the best way to get optimum hotel rates."

In just a few days Van Dam will travel to Mexico City's Tourism Fair, the Feria Internacional del Turismo de las Americas, or Fita, to establish new contracts with hotels, bus companies and airlines. This will be the 4th consecutive year Superior Tours Vallarta has participated in the Fita, where in addition to networking they get fantastic ideas for their own tours, which enables them to offer travel packages like none other in the greater Puerto Vallarta area.

For example, Superior Tours is currently the only local tour company that offers Wifi in some of the vehicles they use for transportation, transfers and tours. "Now that everybody is traveling with their smart phones and Ipads, our customers can take vacation pictures and upload them to social media right away - without the high costs of roaming," says Van Dam.

"I am sure I will come back from the Fita with loads of ideas for the future," she adds. "We always try to offer new products and tours. Personally, I recently went to Puebla and I have a trip coming up to the Yucatan and Quintana Roo to see some new attractions, even though I have been there many times in the past. For international tours, Princess Cruises invited me on a cruise to Alaska, so I could get to know their products. The cruises we now offer, and we are not only limited to Princess, are definitely a product with a huge sales-potential in Puerto Vallarta. These, when combined with the airline and bus tickets, travel insurance, tours and transportation services already offered, Superior Tours is more than ready for the upcoming high-season!"
