Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Looking for something Cool to do this month? Gather up your friends and head on over to Los Alcatraces Restaurant on Thursday, September 26 at 5:00 pm for a fun-filled evening of "Gringo Bingo" to benefit the more than 120 adorable cats and kittens at PuRR Project, a no-kill feline sanctuary just north of Vallarta.
Donations and fund raising events are the only source of financing to provide food, shelter and veterinary care for these rescued animals, so we are bringing back our favorite FUNdraiser to help us put some pesos in Purr Project's "kitty."
We'll be playing in the air-conditioned upper level of Los Alcatraces Restaurant in Fluvial (the green building on Calle Jesus Rodriguez Barba, right behind Costco). Los Alcatraces is located just one block from the Francisco Villa bus route, and they offer lots of free parking, great food and drink... and did we mention air conditioning?
You'll have a great time playing BINGO for fabulous prizes, (restaurant gift certificates, unique jewelry, bottles of adult beverages, haircut/massage gift certificates, etc.) joining in the 50/50 raffle for plentiful pesos, and enjoying great food and drinks with friends.
Our numbers caller and half-time entertainer will be singer Mikki Prost, just back from summering in the States and rarin' to kick off an exciting new high season!
Grab a friend and join the PuRR Project team at Los Alcatraces Restaurant on Thursday, September 26 at 5:00 pm for an evening of great food, fun, a chance to meet other animal lovers, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping the kitties as you do!
Purr Project is a Non-Profit shelter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that provides homeless cats and kittens a recuperative stay with the ultimate goal to adopt them out to loving homes. All of our residents have been sterilized, vaccinated and are disease free. We accomplish this through our own efforts as well as collaboratively with other animal welfare organizations. Both monetary donations as well as donations of dry cat food are most welcome – and much appreciated. For more information, visit PurrProject.com or send an email to info(at)purrproject.com.
