Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - During the month of November, ExPats in Vallarta will be having two Happy Hour gatherings and a Wine and Appetizer Evening.
The Happy Hour events will be at Langostinos - the first one on Tuesday, November 5th and the second on Tuesday, November 19th. The restaurant is located on Los Muertos Beach just north of the new pier and both events will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Come join us for a couple of cool ones and sample some of Langostino's great food. Getting out is great therapy for everyone. If you are a first-timer let us know and we will introduce you to other ExPats.
The Wine and Appetizer Evening is going to be on Friday, November 15th, downtown up above Barcelona Tapas. If you are new to the Wine and Appetizer evenings, here is how they work: The host supplies paper plates, plastic forks, napkins, plastic wine glasses, ice, and wine bottle openers. Each of the attendees brings their own beverage and an appetizer to share. Before the event, Sara will send out the address and directions to those attending.
To make reservations for all events, please visit their website - ExpatsInVallarta.com - or send an email to sarajwise(at)yahoo.com. It is important that we provide Langostinos an accurate number of attendees before the event so they are set up to handle our group properly. Attendance is limited and these events fill up very quickly.
There is no membership fee or requirements for the events; everyone pays for only what they use or consume. It is a great way to see old friends, meet new friends, and just get out and enjoy Puerto Vallarta.
Note From Sarah
As you well know, ExPats In Vallarta has never asked for money or anything else from our members for any charitable group - even though we know there are a lot of worthwhile efforts here locally. While we are making an exception for this one, we are not asking for money.
If you are willing, please bring toothbrushes and toothpaste which we will collect at Langostinos and deliver to Dr. Octavio.
Dr. Octavio and members of his staff visit the Cuale River village of Los Llanitos and other similar villages to provide free dental services to the mountain people there who do not have access to them. After Dr. Octavio performs the patients dental work, he gives them the toothpaste and brushes and instructs them in dental hygiene and how to take proper care of their teeth.
He has requested assistance with supplies to help these people.
Thank you very much.
The continually growing local group of Expats In Vallarta is open to all expat residents, visitors, and investors from other countries. The purpose of the group is both to provide fun social events where members can meet friends and create new friendships and to provide a meaningful resource for expats already living here and those considering the Banderas Bay area.
