Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - From February 27th through March 2nd the best Charro teams in the country will gather at the Miguel "Prieto" Ibarría Rodeo Grounds in Puerto Vallarta to compete in the 2014 Millonario National Charro Championship.
Stand out competitors this year include five of last year's six tournament finalists - Rancho El Eden, Rancho La Biznaga, Los Tres Potrillos, Camino Real de Colima, Tequila Hacienda Vieja, Tequila Don Roberto and National Champions 'Charros Tamariz CYM' - but any of the other 19 participating teams could surprise us with a win.
"We want the fans who have always honored us with their presence to be impressed, as they have always enjoyed charro with the Ibarría family and all the families visiting us," said an excited Armando Ibarría, who has been working with his family to ensure that this competition remains one of the best charro tournaments in the country.
"Also, as a gift to the public that has always favored the Miguel 'Prieto' Ibarría Charro arena, tickets for entrance on any day entitles attendees to enter raffles for great prizes, like courtesy stays in sponsoring hotels and plasma TV screens," Ibarría added. The raffle tickets will be drawn and the lucky winners will be announced after the finals on Sunday.
