Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - When your envious, snowbound friends imagine you warmly wintering in Puerto Vallarta, I'm certain they envision you on the beach enjoying a romantic Valentine's dinner; sunset sinking over the Bay, sand underfoot, waves lapping at your feet while swaying to Latin rhythms. This year it can be more than just a fantasy. The International Friendship Club (IFC) invites you to a "Valentine's Day Dinner on the Beach" at Los Arcos Hotel on Friday, February 14th.

The evening, planned by Events Chair Linda Mellor, begins with cocktails at 6:00 pm, followed by a buffet dinner on the beach at 6:30 pm. Cost is $450 pesos which includes gratuity and 1 welcome drink of either fruit punch (non-alcoholic,) rum punch, or a lime margarita. There will be live music from 7 pm until 11 pm and there will be dancers performing a Latin Show from 8 pm until 9 pm.

Seating will be at tables of 8. Full tables can be reserved when bought together, or your group can be seated with others at a table. Both members and guests are welcome. A 20 percent discount is available on all drinks from the regular menu price or if you buy 2 drinks at the normal price the third is free.

Tickets are available at the IFC or online at ifcvallarta.com under the "Special Events" tab. Keep in mind that if you do not purchase your tickets through the IFC you will not be seated in the area reserved for the IFC. Although the sand is raked and wet down, it still is good to wear shoes suitable for walking in the sand.
