Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - As part of their Every Tuesday Night Film series, the Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad Mexico is proud to present this week's movie, The Impossible. This dramatic film, directed by J.A. Boyana, was cited by Robert Ebert as "one of the best films of the year" in 2012.
The Impossible - The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. The film follows the seriously wounded Maria (Naomi Watts) and her eldest son Lucas (Tom Holland) as they struggle to safety, not knowing whether Maria's husband Henry (Ewan McGregor) and their two younger sons are dead or alive. 114 minutes.
Gates open at 5:30 pm and all films begin at 7:00 pm. During the month of April, tickets are only available at the door for a donation of $60 pesos. We invite movie-goers to come at 6:00 pm and enjoy the food vendors at the Community Center before the show. Wine, beer and other refreshments are also available.
