The documentary TV show "Travel Secrets Mexico" announces the addition of a special series for amateur treasure seekers called "Treasure Hunt Mexico."
Treasure Hunt Mexico introduces recreational treasure hunters from all over the world to the best places in Mexico where treasure can be found. This new original TV series shows target areas such as islands formerly used as hiding places by famous pirates, ruins of very old haciendas, closed and active gold mines, mystic towns, rivers and creeks, as well as fields where the great gold rush took place.
"Mexico is basically undiscovered for recreational treasure hunting. That's why we started this TV series. We know from experience how fascinating it is to immerse into the history and culture of the region, relive the days of colonial splendor and discover a few of Mexico's designated Pueblos Mágicos-Magic Towns," said Herbert J. Kellner, Executive Producer of the series.
Today, more than 12 million people worldwide are enthusiastic recreational treasure hunters. More specifically, the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom are leading the world in this activity. Treasure hunting continues to grow in popularity. Metal detecting and gold panning are the most effective methods for recovering placer gold. Amateurs armed with nothing more than a metal detector or gold pan and patience make most of the treasure finds.
Treasure Hunt Mexico broadcasts every Saturday 9:30 pm (PT) on FamilyNet Television. The network reaches more than 150 million viewers in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia. The show can also be watched on their YouTube Channel.
