Punta Mita, Mexico - Year after year, the American Express Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf Classic keeps topping itself in terms of events, guest chefs and winemakers, golf play... and the participants! The IV edition – which took place from April 4-6, was a smashing success once again, with flawless organization and events all filled to capacity.

This annual event, now in its fourth year, marries two of the highlights of life in Punta Mita: championship golf and the art of fine dining – which includes plenty of great wines, spirits and friends.

Sponsored jointly by the St. Regis and the Four Seasons resorts together with Punta Mita’s master developer DINE – and welcoming new event master sponsor, American Express — this annual celebration of "living the dream" brings together a full house of residents, their guests, and visitors from surrounding local communities - all packing the St. Regis and Four Seasons resorts.

This year's Gourmet & Golf Classic featured a menu of gourmet meals and cooking courses taught by internationally acclaimed chefs brought in for the weekend, together with a series of wine, tequila and mezcal tastings. Multiple options were available to choose from at each lunch and dinner hour.

Opening night was a fantastic kick-off sponsored by Aeromexico at the St. Regis Sea Breeze Beach Club. Four Seasons hosted a capacity crowd for the American Express Gala Closing party, a seated pool side dinner, followed by an after-party at Ketsi restaurant — completely transformed into a disco!

Mornings, golfers could take part in 'The Punta Mita Cup,' a two-day golf tournament on the dual Jack Nicklaus Signature Courses at Punta Mita, the Bahía and Pacifico.
