Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, Asilo San Juan Diego, a non-profit senior citizen's home in Puerto Vallarta, will be celebrating their third anniversary of serving the elderly members of our community.
The celebrations start at 12 noon with a special 'Mass of Thankfulness,' featuring the music of pianist Salvatore. Afterwards, there will be a Taquiza with plenty of tacos and beverages and a whole lot of of merry making with the abuelos as they celebrate this festive occasion. Your donation of $100 pesos will help cover the cost of the festivities.
Transportation to the Asilo will be provided by bus, which will depart from the Municipal Stadium at 11:00 am and return at 2:00 pm. If you would like a ride, please reserve your spot on the bus by calling the Asilo's secretary, Lucy, at 322-113-3080.
Asilo San Juan Diego's mission is to improve the quality of life for senior citizens, offering solutions that allow them to continue in their process of personal and emotional development while generating a community culture based on respect, care and support through programs that encourage potential, allowing them to live self-sufficiently.
The center also offers local families the opportunity to enjoy the day program that cares for and supports their elderly in a pleasant space where they can receive occupational therapy, medical attention, and recreation. To make a tax deductible donation to this worthy cause, click HERE.
