Riviera Nayarit, Mexico - One of the top magazines in North America for women planning their special day, Brides Magazine, recently published a list recommending the top 18 honeymoon destinations in Mexico, and three Riviera Nayarit resorts made the list!
The three hotels showcased are: the Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort in 6th place, The St. Regis Resort Punta Mita in 11th place, and Grand Velas Nuevo Vallarta coming in at #13.
"From the sun-drenched shores of Los Cabos to the turquoise coast of the Riviera Maya, you'll find over-the-top hotels that cater to couples. That sun. Those insanely good margaritas. Days tend to be very, very leisurely when vacationing south of the border; your most important decision of the day might be salt or no salt. Which is why a Mexican honeymoon is the perfect post-wedding stress buster. We ranked the most romantic escapes, crisscrossing the country from Los Cabos to Punta Mita to the Mayan Riviera," the article reads.
Among the Four Seasons' amenities highlighted by the magazine were whale watching on the resort's private yacht (in season) and the resort's Nuna pool, which appears to blend seamlessly with the bay. Also in Punta Mita, the St. Regis was mentioned for its three ocean-front pools, its 10,000-square-foot spa, and round-the-clock butler service.
The Grand Velas in Nuevo Vallarta was lauded for its posh, all-inclusive entry-level rooms that begin at a whopping 1,000 square feet and its couples’ kayak tours and Scuba clinics, which are included in the price tag.
