Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Banderas Bay's favorite tour and transportation company keeps growing and introduced this week a new website. "Our new site gives people the opportunity to find our tours more easily. We started with just few tours in 2007, however we offer so many more tours and other services now, that a change was necessary," says Astrid Van Dam, owner of Superior Tours Vallarta.

"We have our own fleet of vehicles, we offer private driver services, airport transportation, DMC services and much more than that. While many people were under the impression that we only offered local tours, our travel agency offers travel insurance, packages to other countries, bus and plane tickets and most every other kind of travel service that you can imagine," she emphasized.

"Tourism has changed a lot in the last few years. At this moment we cater to a lot to groups of friends or families that rent villas instead of several hotel rooms. Obviously these groups are looking for transportation, for example if they go out at night. We work with several rental agents in town, so that they can offer their clients secure transportation. For example, all of our drivers speak perfect English and without a doubt we offer the best passenger insurance in town. This is one of the reasons why rental agents prefer to recommend us to their clients. We do not compete with taxis, but give people another option for their transportation needs; after all, some people prefer to ride a public bus, others take taxis, and we just offer another level of transportation for those who are looking for larger, more luxurious vehicles. The same vehicles we use for our private and group tours," Astrid continues.

Branching out to Riviera Nayarit

"Lately we are seeing more and more tourism going to Riviera Nayarit. Destinations such as Sayulita, Punta de Mita, and San Pancho are getting more and more popular to visit, especially for small groups. In September, our new office in Sayulita will open with the same services as our office in Puerto Vallarta. We have the perfect location right there: right on the main square next to the popular Choco Banana Restaurant. I am convinced we will be able to serve the Riviera Nayarit community just as well as we serve the people in Puerto Vallarta. I could only dream of this success when I started my own company in 2007 by myself working from my house starting with nothing but my guide license, after working so many years in other agencies. I have a great team of multilingual travel consultants, guides and drivers, and we keep growing, that is what it's all about!" Ms. Van Dam concludes.
