Quintana Roo, Mexico - If you have ever fantasized about enjoying a nice tequila on a Mexican beach while watching Ozzy Osbourne tear up the stage, your dreams are about to become a reality.
Ozzy has announced "Ozzfiesta," a five-day event which will take place next May at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The fest will feature performances from Zakk Wylde, as well as his band Black Label Society, a comedy club, an intimate beachside Ozzy Osbourne concert on the closing night of the event, and much more.
The extravaganza will take place from May 27-31, 2015 entirely at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The all-inclusive package will treat fans to a "Welcome Party" featuring an acoustic performance from Zakk Wylde, a dinner party hosted by Sharon Osbourne, a comedy club performance featuring sets from Jim Norton and Jim Florentine, a charity golf tournament, and the closing night Ozzy Osbourne bash.
Ozzfiesta appears to be a one-off, Latin American extension of the Osbournes’ annual Ozzfest tour. Created in 1996, Ozzfest has been staged everywhere from Milton Keynes to Tel Aviv to Wantagh, New York. Past highlights include a 2004 performance by Black Sabbath, where Judas Priest’s Rob Halford filled in for a sickly Ozzy. The most recent Ozzfest took place in Chiba, Japan, in 2013.
This vacation will not come cheap! Ticket prices start at $1,899 per adult, $499 for children, and $100 for toddlers. The first 500 tickets sold get an exclusive meet and greet with Ozzy and all purchases get $750 worth of credit to use at the resort spas, golf and other amenities.
The Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico is a five-star resort located on the Caribbean Ocean. It boasts three adult-only pools, a private white sand beach, two family pools, an 18-hole golf course, nine restaurants, six bars and more. Each room booked includes a $750 resort credit, which can be used for spa treatments, golf and more.
